Teacher Assistant/ Paraprofessional, Elementary School

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and ambitious teacher who is passionate about making a difference for children and who wishes to play a key role in further strengthening our teaching team. This is a full-time position and would suit a teacher who is committed to continuous professional growth and is keen to develop their experience across different year groups.
Over time, there may be opportunities to work across the primary age range from EYFS to Year 6, supporting both personal and professional development. The initial appointment would be in lower Key Stage 2.

Desirable Qualifications- + Paediatric First Aid Training
- + Recent experience of teaching in Key Stage 2 and additional experience in Key Stage 1 and/or EYFS.
- + Experience of leading and directing teaching assistants.
- + Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- + Additional SEND, safeguarding, leadership or subject-specialist experience.
- + Experience of working with, and meeting the needs of pupils with a range of SEND needs.
- + Experience of using Rosenshine's principles in teaching.
- + Experience of trauma informed training
- + Ability to solve problems and work dynamically.
- + Use of restorative approaches in behaviour management.
- + Experience of supporting extracurricular activities, educational visits or residential trips.
- + Able to work collaboratively with another teacher to plan and deliver all aspects of the curriculum
