You will be joining a well-established civil and structural engineering consultancy delivering residential and commercial development projects across Greater Manchester. The role

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will take a lead role within the infrastructure design team, delivering projects while supporting and mentoring others.

Key responsibilities include:

* Delivering highways and drainage designs to programme and budget

* Leading S104, S38 and S278 technical approvals and negotiations

* Ensuring designs comply with current standards and codes of practice

* Coordinating with clients, local authorities and internal teams

* Supporting fee preparation and project budgets

* Mentoring junior engineers and reviewing technical outputs

About you

This role suits a confident Senior Infrastructure Engineer with strong consultancy experience.

You will ideally have:

* Around 5 years' experience working as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer or similar

* Strong experience in roads, drainage and development infrastructure design

* Proficiency in AutoCAD with experience using Micro Drainage and PDS or similar

* Good understanding of SuDS and hydraulic modelling

* Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering

* Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach
