Are you a Civil Engineer with at least two years' consultancy experience who wants more responsibility and clearer progression? This opportunity suits a Civil Engineer ready to step up within an infrastructure design team.

You will be joining a civil and structural engineering consultancy delivering residential and commercial development projects from pre-planning through to construction. This Civil Engineer role offers design work, exposure to technical approvals and structured support towards Chartership.

The role

As a Civil Engineer, you will work within a collaborative design team, supporting senior engineers while managing your own technical outputs.

Key responsibilities include:

* Preparing civil engineering drawings and designs using AutoCAD

* Supporting highways and drainage design for residential developments

* Producing calculations in line with current UK standards

* Assisting with S104, S38 and S278 submissions and approvals

* Liaising with local authorities, drainage authorities and statutory undertakers

* Coordinating with architects, clients and the wider design team

About you

This role suits a Civil Engineer who is technically capable and keen to progress.

You will ideally have:

* At least 2 years' experience as a Civil Engineer within a consultancy

* Experience supporting roads and drainage design on residential developments

* Good AutoCAD skills with exposure to Micro Drainage or PDS

* Understanding of SuDS and CDM Regulations 2015

* A degree or HNC in Civil Engineering
