Permanent Site Engineer – Civil Engineering

An established civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis, working on a range of civil infrastructure and construction projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer looking for stability, long-term progression, and the chance to work with a well-respected contractor delivering high-quality projects.

The Role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day engineering support on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately, and to programme.

Key responsibilities include:

Setting out for civil engineering works (roads, drainage, groundworks, utilities, etc.)

Managing and checking drawings, specifications, and RAMS

Ensuring quality control and compliance with design and HSEQ standards

Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and design teams

Maintaining accurate site records and as-built information

About You

Proven experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering or construction

Strong setting-out skills using GPS / Total Station

Good understanding of civil engineering drawings and specifications

Excellent communication and organisational skills

CSCS card (essential)

SMSTS / First Aid (desirable but not essential)
