We’re now recruiting a Head of Higher Education Engineering.

This is already a strong area. Our achievement rate sits ten points above the national average, and our apprenticeships have just been named the best in the region.

Now we’re looking for someone ready to take it further.

You’ll lead our Higher Education Engineering provision, including higher apprenticeships, Pearson Higher Nationals and university-partner programmes. You’ll work with great staff, leading employers, universities and awarding organisations to shape provision that responds to student demand, employer need and regional skills priorities.

This is a senior role for someone who is ambitious, credible and strategic. Someone who understands higher-level engineering education, can work confidently with employers and academic partners, and wants to build something distinctive.

We are the lead FE partner in the Greater Manchester Institute of Technology and the North-West Construction Technical Excellence College. That’s something only we can claim.

£57,141 to £64,285, with negotiation at the top for an exceptional candidate
