Project Engineer, Civil Engineering

We’re seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join our team delivering a high-profile major civil engineering project. This is an exciting opportunity to take on real responsibility, working at the heart of project delivery alongside experienced engineers and leadership teams.

Permanent – Full Time. Location Wigan. Workplace type Onsite.

• Coordinating site engineering activities and liaising with clients, designers and subcontractors
• Managing technical compliance, setting out and construction information
• Monitoring progress against programme, cost and quality targets
• Supporting procurement, logistics and material management
• Identifying and mitigating project risks
• Ensuring robust health, safety, environmental and quality standards

• Experience on major civils/infrastructure projects
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to interpret drawings and specifications
• Excellent organisation and problem‑solving skills
• Confident communicator who can work across multidisciplinary teams
• HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering (or similar)
• SMSTS
