Electrical Engineer - Nights

Location Kitt Green factory, Wigan Job Title Electrical Engineer Reports into Engineering Manager Role Summary To work as part of a multi-disciplined shift team to maintain the assets within the Centre to optimise utilisation of the equipment and to deliver maximum volume at the right quality.

Working closely with the Shift/Production Managers and technicians to provide a quick response to line breakdowns and to support asset improvement. To provide engineering and operational support to the Centre.

• Carry out maintenance duties to support production, either planned or in support of breakdowns or commissioning
• Will be trained to safely carry out work on equipment located in production areas across Kitt Green
• Will be expected to use the SAP system to report work done and contribute to the overall effectiveness by assisting in planning
• Will be expected to participate in training and to train others including apprentices
• Will work to the highest engineering standards to fully support RU and product quality
• Proactive and willing to challenge the status quo and initiate improvements

• Qualified to HNC or equivalent level
• Minimum 18th Edition Wiring Regs / PLC Experience
• Flexible and enthusiastic outlook
