Personal Tax Planning Assistant Manager

Tax Manager / Assistant Manager Private Client / OMB Focus Wigan

We are seeking a Tax Manager or Assistant Manager to join a well-established and growing tax team supporting a loyal portfolio of owner-managed businesses (OMBs) and private clients.

This is a mixed advisory-focused role with an emphasis on tax planning, offering the opportunity to develop your expertise while working closely with experienced Partners and Directors.

• Deliver tax planning advice to a portfolio of OMBs and private clients
• Support on a range of advisory projects including succession planning, remuneration planning, and general tax structuring
• Build and maintain strong long-term client relationships
• Work closely with Tax Partners and Directors on complex planning work
• Review compliance work where required, although the role is primarily planning-focused

• ATT / CTA / ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent experience)
• Experience in personal tax and/or working with owner-managed businesses
• Exposure to tax planning work (essential), even if not the primary focus of your current role
• Strong communication skills and ability to build client relationships
