Part-Time Payroll Administrator

Axon Moore are pleased to be working in partnership with a highly valued client in Golborne as they recruit for an experienced Payroll specialist on a part-time basis. This is a flexible and accommodating role which can be completed over 3 days per week in the office.

This role will be well suited to experienced payroll administrators who are seeking to achieve a more favourable work/life balance.

• Full process of the payroll function on a weekly/monthly basis
• Resolving internal/external queries
• Reconciling payroll entries
• Ensure compliance with statutory benchmarks
• Processing new starters and staff departures
• Administration of company benefits, overtime, commissions, etc.
• Maintenance of accurate employee records
• Reporting of pension data to scheme advisors
• Provide ad hoc support and assistance to the finance department

• At least 2 years' payroll experience
• Able to efficiently manage and organise their workload
• Microsoft Excel and Sage proficient
• Professionalism and confidentiality
• Keeping up to date with payroll practices and legislation
• A good understanding of PAYE, NI, RTI SMP, SSP and other HMRC statutory regulations
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Proactive and self-motivated in nature
• Able to work efficiently towards deadlines

• Starting salary up to £32,000 pro rata
