Your role :

You will be a key member of the Council’s Fleet team, responsible for keeping our vehicles, plant and equipment safe, reliable, and ready for use. Through your work, you will play a vital role in supporting frontline operational teams, helping to ensure essential Council services are delivered efficiently to our communities.

Working as part of a supportive and skilled team, you will contribute to the repair, maintenance, and upkeep of a diverse fleet, taking pride in the quality of your work and the impact it has on day-to-day service delivery.

The role operates on a shift rota and includes evening working, bank holidays, and alternative working arrangements over the Christmas and Easter periods. This flexibility is essential to maintaining continuous fleet availability and supporting critical services year-round.
