Adecco are recruiting on behalf of one of our valued educational clients in the Hindley Green area for a School Cleaner to join their team on an ongoing basis.
Start Date:
1st September
Job Type: Temporary on-going
Days:
Monday to Friday
Hours:
7.5 hours per week, 1.5 hours per day (times can be discussed)
Hourly Rate: £12.1ph-£13.00ph
Key Responsibilities
Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and other areas across the school site to a high standard
Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing designated areas
Emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of correctly
Replenishing toilet rolls, soap, hand towels, and other cleaning supplies as required
Ensuring all areas are clean, hygienic, and ready for use by staff, pupils, and visitors
Reporting any maintenance issues, damages, or health and safety concerns to the appropriate person
Following school safeguarding, health and safety, and security procedures at all times Requirements
Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail
Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual
A valid Enhanced DBS certificate is required, or a willingness to obtain one before starting
Good understanding of health and safety procedures and the safe use of cleaning products and equipment
