We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to oversee a large-scale industrial refurbishment project in Wigan, commencing in March and running for approximately 18 months.

• This is a key leadership role on a significant industrial scheme, working alongside a strong and established site team structure, including a Senior Site Manager and a Site / Assistant Site Manager reporting into you. The role offers the opportunity to take full operational control of site delivery on a technically challenging refurbishment programme. Some of the main components of the job will involve;
• Full strip back to frame
• Steel structure alterations
• Concrete, groundworks and drainage
• Full internal refurbishment packages
• Roof works

Lead and manage day-to-day site operations on a major industrial refurbishment project

Oversee programme delivery to ensure works are completed safely, on time, and within budget

Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour

Drive high standards of health & safety, quality assurance, and site compliance

Monitor progress against programme and proactively resolve issues

Chair site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders

Support and mentor junior site management staff

Ensure accurate reporting, record keeping, and documentation control

Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager on large-scale industrial or refurbishment projects

Excellent leadership and team management skills

Strong knowledge of UK health & safety regulations and site compliance

Ability to manage multiple work streams and subcontract packages

CSCS Black Card (Essential)

SMSTS (Essential)

First Aid at Work (Essential)
