Salary:
Grade 12, £53,460 - £57,379 per annum.
37 hours per week, working the full year.
Required from July 2026.
Due to the imminent retirement of our long‑serving Business and Finance Manager.

• Strategic financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.
• Day‑to‑day management of the school’s finances, including payroll, purchasing and monitoring expenditure.
• Preparation of financial reports for the Headteacher and Governing Body.
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, audit requirements and local authority policies.
• Oversight of contracts, procurement and value‑for‑money initiatives.
• Line management of the Business Leadership Team and general oversight of school support staff.
• Supporting the Headteacher in strategic business and financial planning and decision making.
• Contributing to the overall leadership and management of the school.

• Proven experience in business and financial management, ideally within an education setting.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and financial reporting.
• Excellent organisational, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work strategically while managing operational demands.
• Experience working with Arbor (desirable).
• Ability to undertake an enhanced DBS check and provide satisfactory references.
