Materials Handler

Join our team at ALPLA as a Materials Handler in Golborne. This 12‑hour shift role focuses on controlling the flow of raw materials to the production line and supporting a 24/7 manufacturing operation.

• Ensure the control and flow of raw materials to the production department is optimized.
• Load and unload materials for the department (use of FLT).
• Maintain a high level of housekeeping within the job scope.
• Carry out duties in accordance with good health and safety practice.
• Work with other departments to ensure material flow matches the production plan.

• Experience in a fast‑paced production/manufacturing environment supporting movement of products and/or materials.
• Hold a valid FLT license / counterbalance (training provided if needed).
• Excellent team player with effective communication skills.
• Knowledge and awareness of health and safety procedures in a busy manufacturing environment.
