Recruit4staff are representing a well-established precision engineering business in their search for a CNC Machinist to work in Wigan
.
Programming, setting and operating CNC Milling centres to manufacture bespoke, low-volume components. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and 3D CAD files to determine optimal manufacturing techniques. Using offline CAD-CAM software to create tool paths and machining instructions. Running CNC Millers with Hurco controls to achieve maximum efficiency in batch production.
Job Details- Pay: £39,000 - £44,000 per annum
- Hours of Work:
Monday to Thursday 7:00am – 4:00pm, Friday 7:00am – 12:00pm - Duration:
Permanent - Overtime Rules:
Plenty of overtime available, paid at x1.5 - Benefits:
Onsite parking, clean working environment, modern CNC machinery
- Programming and operating milling machines with Hurco controls
- Previous experience of machining first off samples
- Offline programming experience
- Experience working for a low volume batch manufacturer or precision engineer
- Experience working with exotic materials
- Hurco controls
