Profile Cutting Supervisor

We're hiring for an Engineering Cutting Supervisor to join a long-established engineering and fabrication business based in Worsley.

• £40k - £45k p/a
• Mon - Thu | 6:45am - 3:30pm
• Fri | 6:45am - 2:30pm
• Overtime paid at 1.5x
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays
• 4% pension scheme

• Taking full ownership of steel plate stock control and material management
• Checking incoming materials against certification for quality and compliance
• Managing traceability of materials through the manufacturing process
• Writing and preparing nesting profiles for CNC programmes
• Operating profiling machinery and saws where required
• Supporting plate processing operations at the front end of production
• Ensuring quality control standards are maintained from the outset
• Working closely with the Production Director and wider machining/fabrication teams

• Strong background in engineering, fabrication, or heavy manufacturing
• Experience with steel plate, profiling, nesting software or CNC programming
• Understanding of material certification and traceability
