The Opportunity
A leading manufacturing company is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support the reliability, safety, and performance of their production equipment. This is a full-time, permanent role offering stability, variety, and the chance to play a key part in improving machinery uptime and site efficiency.

This role would suit candidates working in these roles
Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Multiskilled Engineer, Shift Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Electrical Technician, Service Engineer, Plant Engineer, Engineering Technician, or Industrial Electrician.

Your duties and responsibilities will be
Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a range of production machinery and site equipment.
Fault-finding on electrical systems to quickly identify issues and restore equipment performance.
Completing routine inspections and maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities.
Supporting improvements to reduce downtime and increase equipment reliability.
Assisting with the installation, commissioning, and optimisation of new machinery and control systems.

You will have the following qualifications and experience
Background in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong diagnostic skills with experience working on motors, inverters, and control systems.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics.

Experience of PLC-controlled equipment (advantageous but not essential).
Flexible, proactive approach with strong teamwork and communication skills.
