Production Operative

We are looking for a Production Operative to join our well‑established global client in Hindley Green on a full‑time, temporary‑to‑permanent contract. Pay is £14.04 per hour plus shift allowance and bonus opportunities. Work is Monday to Friday on rotating day shifts with an early finish on Friday. The role involves loading, unloading and operating production filling lines, running automatic and semi‑automatic filling and packing machinery, carrying out quality control tests, monitoring, controlling, and recording production information on paper and electronic systems, and ensuring compliance with mixing, packaging and labelling specifications.

• Load, unload and operate production filling lines.
• Operate automatic and semi‑automatic filling and packing machines.
• Carry out quality control tests to specified methods.
• Monitor, control and record information on paper and electronic systems.
• Ensure that mixing, packaging and labelling specifications are adhered to at all times.
• Conduct chemical blending and filling to exact production standards.

• Previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment.
• Competent and confident in using production machinery and equipment.
• Ability to adapt to changing business needs and work rotating shifts.
• Self‑motivated, willing to learn, and detail oriented.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 25 kg.

Hindley Green, Wigan, Lancashire. Rotating day shifts from Monday to Friday with an early finish on Fridays.
