The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Process Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business operating within the chemical processing sector. This permanent position offers the chance to become part of a collaborative production team responsible for the safe and efficient batch manufacture of specialist products.
We would also welcome applications from these industries Chemical manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, coatings and adhesives, food and beverage processing, and industrial manufacturing.
This role would suit candidates working in these roles Production Process Operator, Chemical Operator, Process Technician, Manufacturing Operator, Production Technician, Chemical Production Operative, Process Plant Operator, Batch Operator, Factory Operator, Process Manufacturing Operative.
Your duties and responsibilities will be
Carry out batch manufacturing activities in line with process instructions, quality standards and site safety procedures.
Measure, prepare and process raw materials accurately, ensuring products are manufactured to specification.
Monitor production equipment and manufacturing processes, recording operational data and reporting any issues or deviations promptly.
Complete production, quality and safety documentation accurately and within required timescales.
Help maintain high housekeeping standards, support continuous improvement activities and assist with warehouse movements where required.
You will have the following qualifications and experience
Previous experience within a chemical, process manufacturing or similar production environment.
Ability to follow detailed manufacturing instructions and work accurately with process documentation.
Good numerical skills and strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Forklift truck experience and/or a valid FLT licence would be advantageous.
A proactive approach to health, safety and quality, with a willingness to work collaboratively to improve processes and product performance.
