Trainee Fabricator

Trainee Fabricator Wigan Full Time £26,000 – £28,000 per annum Trainee Fabricator Welder (Industrial Doors) –

Two vacancies are available; applications are also welcome from experienced Fabricators and Welders.

Our client is an independent company specialising in the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of industrial doors and roller shutters.

Their team of technically gifted, highly experienced and friendly professionals have gained an enviable reputation for excellent customer service and high-quality products. Established in 2001, the business has achieved a track record of consistent growth and is now embarking on an ambitious expansion plan.

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, the successful candidate will be fully trained to work as part of a friendly and dedicated team fabricating all the components of a wide range of bespoke industrial doors such as roller shutters, high speed doors, folding shutters, and garage doors.

• A genuine interest in developing a career as a Fabricator / Welder.
• Desire to learn and develop the ability to use workshop tools;
  Guillotine / Mig Welder / Band Saw / Pillar Drill / Brake Press.
• Ability to learn to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Flexible attitude, with good organisation and prioritisation skills.

As a Trainee Fabricator / Welder you'll benefit from:

• A trainee starting salary in the region of £26,000 to £28,000 with the level dependent on experience and qualifications. For those already experienced as a Fabricator / Welder the salary is negotiable.
• Overtime is available from time to time which is paid.

• Permanent contract with full-time hours, working Monday to Friday between 7:30am to 4:00pm, with flexibility required to meet business and client needs.
