Hours:
10 nights per month - 13.5 hour shift working 6.30 pm-8.30 am
Salary:
Up to 75000 per year (Depending on experience)

The teamWe’re a busy first‑opinion small animal hospital in Leigh between Manchester and Liverpool. We have a friendly, forward‑thinking team and encourage career progression through various CPD avenues; many of our current staff have or are participating in certificates and further training. We deeply care about providing outstanding patient and client care.
We have good‑quality ultrasound machines with modern bronchoscope and gastroscope as well as biochemistry, haematology, blood gas analysis machine and Sedi Vue.

- Gold cat friendly status and Silver rabbit friendly status
- Several certificate holders and RCVS Advanced Practitioners on site
- Onsite hydrotherapy and rehabilitation centre with physiotherapist
- Class IV laser therapy
- Direct radiography
- 7 consult rooms separate dog / cat / rabbit / ICU and isolation kennels

Perform emergency surgeries with confidence and care, providing veterinary care to inpatients and emergencies overnight.
Stabilise critically ill or injured animals, adjust treatment, medications or support care as required.
Explain diagnoses, prognoses and treatment options to worried pet owners during emergencies and treat medical or surgical conditions.
Confident with a busy practice with surgical and medical experience working in an ECC setting and sole charge.
A team player who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and remains calm under pressure.
A collaborative, can‑do attitude that helps maintain a positive team culture and excellent client care relationship.
