* Genuine autonomy to improve safety performance across multiple UK sites.## Introduction This is a hands-on, multi-site role responsible for leading and improving health and safety performance across three UK manufacturing facilities. This is a permanent position, working Monday to Friday with flexible start and finish times.## Responsibilities
* Develop and continuously improve Health & Safety Management Systems.
* Conduct site audits, inspections, risk assessments and performance reviews.
* Lead investigations into accidents, injuries and significant near misses.
* Provide practical guidance on machine safety, guarding and LOTO/LOTOTO.
* Develop safe systems of work, corrective actions and improvement plans.
* Deliver inductions, toolbox talks and safety awareness training.
* Coach managers and employees to improve working practices and accountability.
* Monitor performance and report progress to senior management.## Requirements
* NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent Level 3 qualification.
* Health and safety experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
* Practical knowledge of machine safety, guarding and LOTO/LOTOTO procedures.
* Experience developing Health & Safety Management Systems.
* Experience conducting audits, risk assessments and incident investigations.
* Strong understanding of UK health and safety legislation.
* Confident communication, training and stakeholder-management skills.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly between sites.##
