Quality Inspector
Shifts:39 hour working week. Monday to Thursday: 06:45 to 15:15 Friday: 06:45 to 14:15
Holiday Entitlement:25 Days Annual leave + Bank holidays
Rate:£20.93 per hour
Job Role:- Performing Goods Inwards,
- Pre-Paint and Final Inspections.
- Measuring parts in accordance with engineering drawings using various types of measuring equipment, including external micrometers, 3-legged bore micrometers, stick micrometers, depth micrometers, verniers and gauges.
- Completing dimensional reports / inspection drawings.
- Visually inspection of parts for weld spatter, damage, burrs, paint quality, part marking etc. Completing inspection sign off documentation.
- Stamping parts.
- Carrying out stencilling and paint touch ups - as required.
- Tapping threaded holes - as required. Packing - as required. Assembling parts - as required.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers) and test equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- CMM experience is a benefit
