Enterprise Account Executive – Job Description

The role of Enterprise Account Executive is a key position within the Enterprise, Commercial & Light Industrial team. The individual will develop and manage mid‑tier sales, engaging with a variety of customer accounts that reside with the end user and contractor community.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Identify, develop, and sell UPS/Thermal Management & IRS products.
  • Establish Vertiv as a supplier of choice and build sustainable long‑term relationships with the customer base.
  • Produce, manage, track, and close sales opportunities through quotation selection and the C1 Quote Platform.
  • Secure order intake and coordinate necessary sales/marketing support activities.
  • Collaborate with the Accounts Director to design and execute a sales strategy targeting account growth and share of wallet capture, meeting or exceeding individual annual order plans.
  • Participate in forecast, pipeline reviews, and project coordination meetings to map key opportunities and drive growth within the customer base.
  • Consistently promote Vertiv’s product offerings throughout the hierarchy of customer accounts.
  • Utilize reporting and forecasting platforms to facilitate pipeline discipline, growth, and forecasting accuracy.
  • Map stakeholders and engage with content that is relevant and tailored to customer needs.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders, establishing trust and strengthening repeat business.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience and a proven history in a sales‑focused environment.
  • Commercial experience to identify and understand customer needs and how to fulfil them.
  • Experience and understanding of the enterprise industry and sub‑segments.
  • Experience in commercial negotiations.
  • Experience in stakeholder mapping and relationship building with customers.
  • Sales background in critical engineering applications, service, or product‑led environments.
  • Influencing, negotiating, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Valid driving license.
Working Conditions
  • May be required to travel from time to time.
  • Office‑based position.
