Recruitment Consultant Sales

We are currently looking to recruit a new member of staff to join our team in a position encompassing business development and operational duties. You will need to be confident on the telephone, engaging with current and potential customers discussing the range of services we offer within the transport and logistics sector. Your working week will be focussed on growing your designated territory, building relationships with current and potential customers to understand their individual requirements and discussing how we can work with them.

There will be a mixture of office based calls and face to face appointments. You will spend at least two days per week carrying out customer visits and identifying new leads. You will need to have your own transport and mileage expenses are paid. On the operational support side you will be fully trained in the day to day role of our consultants.

You will be required to source and interview candidates to fulfil our clients requirements. You will also need to gain an understanding of industry legislation in order to be able to identify the areas potential customers could benefit from our services and understand where we support their current operations. As part of our team you will be required to be part of our on call rota.

On call duties involve dealing with out of office hours calls from clients and drivers. The on call duty is a central requirement for this position. We offer a salary package which consists of a basic pay and turnover based commission. Additional commission can be earned on permanent recruitment fees generation. You will need to have previous sales experience and ideally have worked in either field sales or have experience of outbound sales calls as you will need to be confident on the telephone and be able to build a rapport with potential clients.
