Maintenance Electrician

New exciting opportunity to join a global manufacturing organisation based in Greater Manchester. This is an exceptional opportunity for a higher‑skilled Maintenance Electrician who holds strong programming and fault‑finding abilities with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs.

Applicants can commute from Warrington, Skelmersdale, Bolton or Wigan.

Shift: Continental 4 on‑4 off system – 2 days/2 nights, 12‑hour shift.

• Salary: £51,000 – £54,000

• Fault‑finding and programming experience with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs and hardware
• Previous experience within a manufacturing environment
• Maintain and install all electrical machinery
• Carry out planned preventive maintenance
• Complete maintenance work orders and use of CMMS systems
• Communicate effectively at all business levels
• Electrician biased but with split knowledge on the mechanical side
• Knowledge of variable speed drives
• Ability to read schematic drawings
• Knowledge of IEE wiring regulations (17/18th)
• Proven experience in a similar role
• Apprentice trained, holding an HNC/HND in electrical engineering
