Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Electrician/ Electrician Installation
New exciting opportunity to join a global manufacturing organisation based in Greater Manchester. This is an exceptional opportunity for a higher‑skilled Maintenance Electrician who holds strong programming and fault‑finding abilities with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs.
Applicants can commute from Warrington, Skelmersdale, Bolton or Wigan.
Shift: Continental 4 on‑4 off system – 2 days/2 nights, 12‑hour shift.
Benefits- Salary: £51,000 – £54,000

- Fault‑finding and programming experience with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs and hardware
- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment
- Maintain and install all electrical machinery
- Carry out planned preventive maintenance
- Complete maintenance work orders and use of CMMS systems
- Communicate effectively at all business levels
- Electrician biased but with split knowledge on the mechanical side
- Knowledge of variable speed drives
- Ability to read schematic drawings
- Knowledge of IEE wiring regulations (17/18th)
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Apprentice trained, holding an HNC/HND in electrical engineering
