This opportunity offers a competitive hourly rate of £42 with full-time or part-time flexibility, providing a perfect balance between professional fulfilment and personal time. As a pivotal part of our Duty Service Team, you’ll work closely alongside five established Duty Teams to deliver top-tier social services, conducting initial Children and Family assessments with precision and speed.

• Lead and inspire a team of social workers to manage an array of complex and high-risk cases effectively
• Collaborate with the Duty and Assessment Service to improve and maintain service delivery quality
• Drive forward excellent practice within your team, ensuring legislative frameworks and safeguarding standards are adhered to
• Engage actively with children, young people, and families to promote positive outcomes and independence
• Be responsible for transferring cases at pivotal points to ensure seamless service delivery
• Work innovatively with your team to find creative solutions for families in need
