7.5 TONNE DELIVERY DRIVER – Glasgow People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver to join our well-established client based in Glasgow . This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected logistics business offering long-term stability within a supportive and professional transport environment. Even if you finish your route early, you will still be paid for a guaranteed minimum of 50 hours per week . This role would suit candidates with experience as a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver, HGV Driver, LGV Driver, Category C1 Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, Home Delivery Driver or Delivery Driver .

• Industry-related Training and Ongoing Support Throughout Your Assignment Day-to-Day Duties As a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver, your duties will include but not be limited to:
• Safely operating a 7.5 Tonne vehicle to complete multi-drop deliveries
• Loading and unloading boxes and packages for onward delivery
• Loading the vehicle for the following day's deliveries
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects or issues
• Ensuring all loads are secured correctly and transported safely
• Maintaining accurate delivery and compliance records
• Communicating effectively with depot and delivery teams
• Following food hygiene and temperature control regulations when transporting food
• Providing excellent customer service at all times Essential Skills To be successful as a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver, you will need:
• A valid UK Category C1 Driving Licence
• A minimum of 12 months' experience driving Category C1 vehicles
• A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences and no IN, DR, DD or CD endorsements
• Good communication and English language skills
• A reliable, professional and punctual attitude
• A good understanding of road traffic legislation and road safety
• The ability to pass a DS/DBS background check

Desirable Experience
• Previous commercial driving experience would be advantageous
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience would be beneficial
• Previous food delivery or temperature-controlled delivery experience would be desirable Training Provided
