FLT Counterbalance Driver / Warehouse Operative

Location: Ashton-in-Makerfield, Wigan
Pay Rate: £14.24 per hour

We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse and manufacturing operation in Ashton-in-Makerfield, Wigan
.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with a competitive hourly rate and a weekly rotating shift pattern.

This role operates on a weekly rotating basis
:

• Monday: 6:00am - 2:00pm
• Tuesday: 6:00am - 2:00pm
• Wednesday: 6:00am - 2:00pm
• Thursday: 6:00am - 2:00pm
• Friday: 6:00am - 1:00pm

• Monday: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
• Tuesday: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
• Wednesday: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
• Thursday: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
• Friday: 1:00pm - 8:00pm

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading deliveries.
• Moving stock throughout the warehouse and production areas.
• Supplying production lines with materials.
• Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch.
• Carrying out stock movements and stock checks.
• General warehouse duties as required.
• Following all health and safety procedures.

• Valid, in-date Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, AITT or equivalent).
• Previous Counterbalance FLT experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable, hardworking and punctual.
• Able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
• Willingness to undertake general warehouse duties alongside FLT work.

• £14.24 per hour.
