Job Description
Part Time Female Support Worker - 24 hour contract
Pay£15.00 per hour
Refer a Friend Scheme£250 awarded (T&C's apply)
We are currently recruiting a part time Female Support Workers to support a young individual to fulfil a full and active life and to help them access a full and varied programme of activities. This individual has been diagnosed with epilepsy and a learning disability and lives in the WIGTON area.

Role DescriptionWe are committed to Equal opportunities. We currently have a great opportunity for dedicated Female Support Workers to work with an individual who has epilepsy and a learning disability support needs. The individual will be living on their own so we are looking for Support Workers who can provide 360 wrap around support that covers all aspects of their life throughout the day and night.
Qualities& Qualifications
- Provide support during the good times and the difficult periods our individual faces in their daily life.
- Have a good understanding of epilepsy and a learning disability and how this can impact daily living
- Have a love for outdoors and animals.
- Be a positive advocate for them.
- Be consistent – do what you say you will if you can’t explain why.
- Be prepared to motivate them in a supportive manner
- Be patient and understanding, encourage them on the difficult days
- Have a fun and kind personality who will go on adventures
- Work with them to solve issues and overcome day to day tasks
- Come to work to “Get to know me” as that is what is needed to support them
- Work as part of the team who deliver amazing person-centred care
- Think outside the box
- Be able to have a laugh and joke but have set standards and boundaries

- Driving Licence (Must) Due to rural setting
- £125 once the referred individual has successfully completed their first shift.
- £125 once the referred individual has successfully completed their probation period.
