What You’ll Be Doing
As a Hardware Engineer, you’ll play a key role in the design and development of electrical systems for our advanced machinery and automation solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

Creating and developing electrical schematics in EPLAN

Translating technical requirements into practical hardware designs

Selecting electrical components and defining hardware architectures

Producing bills of materials and technical documentation

Supporting purchasing, electrical assembly, commissioning, and customer documentation activities

Troubleshooting and enhancing existing hardware designs

Performing Performance Level (PL) calculations (Mid‑Level & Senior)

Participating in design reviews and presenting technical solutions

Collaborating with Project Managers, Lead Engineers, Operations, Service, Sales, and suppliers

Identifying and driving engineering process improvements

For more experienced engineers, additional opportunities include:

Leading the electrical hardware scope of complex machine projects

Coaching and mentoring junior team members

Reviewing and approving engineering deliverables

Supporting project planning and resource estimation

Acting as a technical expert within multidisciplinary project teams

What We’re Looking For
Junior Engineers

Technical vocational qualification (MBO) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline

3+ years of relevant experience

Strong interest in electrical design and industrial automation

Eagerness to learn and develop within a collaborative engineering team

Mid‑Level Engineers

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

4+ years of relevant experience

Experience creating and maintaining EPLAN schematics

Ability to independently execute engineering projects

Senior Engineers

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

7+ years of relevant experience

Proven experience leading hardware engineering activities on complex projects

Strong coaching, mentoring, and technical leadership capabilities

Technical Skills & Experience
We’re particularly interested in candidates with:

Experience with EPLAN Electrical Design

Knowledge of electrical control systems and machine hardware

Understanding of machinery directives, EMC regulations, and Performance Level requirements

Familiarity with industrial automation and machine building environments

Knowledge of mechanical and software engineering interfaces

Experience with technical documentation and design specifications

Strong planning and organisational skills

Excellent Dutch and English communication skills
