Mountain One Insurance Agency is growing and we are looking for a talented and experienced Personal Lines Account Manager & Branch Manager to join our team in Wilbraham. Continue your insurance career with us.
The Person al Lines Account Manager and Branch Manager will maintain a book of business while providing guidance, mentorship and support to the team in Wilbraham.
Salary Range $50,000 to $75,000 Based on Experience
Primary Responsibilities- Manage a book of personal insurance clients.
- Provide personal lines account management support in secondary capacity, including:
- Addressing insured’s questions and concerns regarding policies, coverages and premium payments promptly via phone, email and in person.
- Communicate with company personnel regarding coverage, policy changes and billing questions via phone and written communication.
- Document all communications and interactions with clients, carriers and others in computer system.
- Initiate appropriate policy and endorsement issuance via in-house agency system and carrier websites.
- Update and maintain accurate client data such as address, phone numbers, email address, etc.
- Generate referrals to the agency.
- Work with staff, supervisors and management to institute and implement departmental policies and procedures. This includes:
- Onboarding and training of new employees.
- Scheduling and ensuring consistent staffing levels.
- Mentoring and supporting professional development among Personal Lines team.
- Maintain compliance with all related company policies, confidentiality, standardized procedures and regulations.
- Keep office supplies and equipment stocked as needed.
- Continuing education to stay abreast of company, agency and computer updates. Training and utilization of all rating programs.
- Perform similar work-related responsibilities at other company locations as required.
- Handle premium payments via in-house to post online or mail accordingly.
- Reconciling cash drawers.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 2 years of Insurance experience
- Prior management experience
- High School Diploma
- Understanding of Insurance work methods and procedures
- Ability to verbally present information to clients, company and agency staff
- Ability to be self-motivated, provide problem solving capabilities and prioritize multiple tasks
- Commitment to the company’s culture and established service standards
- Ability to deal with and show discretion in confidential matters
- 50% availability to work in different branch locations
- 25% availability to travel outside of a 25-mile radius
- Ability to sit, drive, bend, answer phones and perform computer input
