Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor – Full Time, Hourly, Pay Rate Max: $57.54
Shift: 11 p.m. – 7 a.m.
The RN Supervisor coordinates patient care and services, promotes quality care through collaboration, monitors and evaluates services based on patient needs, and works with patients and families while complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care Standards.
Responsibilities- Provide, manage, and coordinate patient care through interpersonal contact, enabling patients to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
- Assist patients daily to evaluate quality of care rendered.
- Direct licensed staff and CNAs in prioritizing patient care needs and reporting requirements.
- Assess patients’ needs and develop plans of care while exhibiting excellent customer service and a positive attitude.
- Assist in the evacuation of patients, demonstrating dependable attendance and disciplined use of reasoning skills.
- Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team, performing manual tasks such as sitting, standing, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, walking, reaching, and moving as required.
- Read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the applicable state.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably geriatric.
- CPR certification upon hire or obtainable during orientation, to be maintained during employment.
- Expert knowledge in the field of practice with the capability to make independent decisions.
- Knowledge of practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines governing post-acute care facilities.
- Proficiency in implementing the department’s programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
- Strong competency in patient rights, safety, and sanitation.
- Professional working relationships with associates, vendors, and confidential information handling.
- Adherence to Life Care’s Code of Conduct and completion of mandatory compliance training.
