As a Field Merchandiser Floater you work independently to showcase organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations when needed.

Salary and Schedule Details

  • Your starting hourly pay rate will be $14.00 to $16.00 depending on your skills and experience.

Eligible Employees receive annual pay increases.

  • This is a Part‑Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
  • Average weekly hours for this position are between 4 – 8 hours per week.
  • Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Day‑to‑day engagement: Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, restock, organize, and monitor inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. Use technology for communication, reporting, and surveys. Interact professionally with store employees, management, and customers.
  • Holiday support: Provide additional days and extended hours during holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. May work on actual holiday and weekend.
  • Department Resets: Assist in installations, building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments, and resetting card sections. Typically notified two weeks in advance. May involve evenings or weekend.
  • One Team Vision: Support other team members as needed in their territories.

Physical Requirements

Physically demanding job requiring high energy. Push, pull, lift, and carry cartons up to 30 pounds and up to 50 pounds on occasion. Kneel, squat, walk, stand throughout workday. May climb stairs and step ladders.

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Read, write, and understand English.
  • Grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Able to operate a digital hand‑held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
  • Access to a Wi‑Fi network and the internet.
  • Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
