Housekeeping Aide

As a Housekeeping Aide, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining a sanitary, safe, and inviting facility for residents, families, and staff. Your work helps ensure our center feels like home.

What You’ll Do
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and sanitary environment throughout the facility
  • Clean resident rooms, restrooms, offices, lounges, hallways, therapy areas, and common spaces
  • Perform emergency cleaning as needed
  • Dust, disinfect, and polish surfaces, fixtures, furniture, and equipment
  • Sweep, mop, disinfect, and maintain floors; assist with carpet cleaning and floor care
  • Replace light bulbs, clean vents, remove lint from dryers, and support basic maintenance tasks
  • Keep outdoor areas tidy, including entrances, patios, and walkways
  • Replenish soap, towels, and other supplies
  • Assist with room readiness for new admissions and discharges
  • Follow infection-prevention procedures, including cleaning isolation rooms
  • Ensure equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored and maintained
  • Respond to environmental service requests from residents and staff with professionalism and courtesy
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience (healthcare experience a plus)
  • Ability to lift, bend, and perform physical tasks safely
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
