Overview

Geisinger is seeking BC/BE Hematologists to join well-established cancer programs at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA and Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. Geisinger offers a unique opportunity for early career and experienced hematology-oncology physicians to develop their career and be part of a well-established and growing physician-led organization. Our providers are part of a collaborative team working with surgical oncology, palliative medicine, radiation oncology, pathology, diagnostic radiology, and behavioral medicine to deliver quality cancer care to our patients.

• Provide hematology-oncology patient care as part of a multidisciplinary cancer program.
• Collaborate with surgical oncology, palliative medicine, radiation oncology, pathology, diagnostic radiology, and behavioral medicine to deliver comprehensive cancer care.
• Engage in education and mentorship of fellows and residents; opportunities to participate in Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine activities.
• Participate in cancer clinical trials and contribute to research initiatives and the MyCode Community Health Initiative.
• Support a physician-led environment that emphasizes work/life balance and community-based care.
