• Over 50 certified Pediatric Emergency Medicine nurses across the system
• In-house Pediatric Hospitalists and Neonatologists available 24/7
• Certified Child Life Specialists to support children and families during care
• Advanced practice providers (APPs) and emergency medicine physicians
• Fellowship-trained PEM physicians leading initiatives in education, quality improvement, and clinical innovation
• Collaborative subspecialty support from nearly every pediatric medical and surgical specialty within our 90-bed children’s hospital

• 4-bed pediatric emergency zone at GWV designed for infants, children, and teens
• 20% pediatric admission rate and 8% critical care rate in the ED
• Dual faculty appointment in Emergency Medicine & Pediatrics

• Starting salary: $350,000
• Fellowship stipend: $2,500/month from offer acceptance to graduation
• Forgivable recruitment loan: $100,000 paid in the first month

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine – required
