Job OverviewOur Transportation Services Department is currently hiring a Senior Transportation Engineer with 5‑15 years of experience in road/street design and PennDOT approval. The position may be based at any of our Northeast PA offices.

- Safety Studies & Audits
- Traffic Signal Retiming
- Traffic Signal Design
- Traffic‑Calming Design
- School‑zone Design
- Intersection Design
- Roadway Design
- Trail & Bikeway Design
- Right‑of‑way conveyance coordination
- Existing pavement analysis
- Construction Management
- PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permitting (HOP)
- Railroad Crossing Design
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field
- PE preferred
- Experience with AutoCAD (Civil 3D) or similar engineering software
- Synchro & HCS experience
- Technical knowledge in equipment selection and cost estimating
