Nurse Aide, Wilkes-Barre Rehab Hospital (FT nights)

Position offered by Allied Services.

Under the supervision of the Unit Manager, Supervisor or delegate in charge of the team/unit, the NA assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non‑acutely ill patients, and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment.

• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Provide basic nursing care to non‑acutely ill patients.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment.
• Support unit operations and patient care as a floater.
• Pass Certified Rehabilitation Nursing Assistant (CRNA) test within orientation period.
• Follow facility policies and procedures on patient care and safety.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum age 16 years or older.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with patients, visitors, and hospital personnel.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Previous experience as a nursing assistant preferred.
• Willingness to float between units and locations.
