Matrix Behavior embraces family values and a collaborative work culture. At Matrix we provide BHT with RBT training to advance and offer flexible work schedules. Full‑time and part‑time hours are available mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

As a BHT/RBT you will deliver direct 1:1 behavioral health intervention to individuals aged 2 to 21, implementing treatment plans under the supervision of a Behavior Consultant (BC) or Assistant‑Behavior Consultant (A‑BC). Your duties include delivering interventions focused on social, life, and adaptive skills, engaging in ongoing training and supervision, maintaining accurate daily paperwork, and submitting weekly reports to the office.

Compliance with IBHS regulations and MCO guidelines is essential when working toward ITP goals.

Desired Qualities

Strong communication skills, patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting individuals with behavioral health needs are essential. Attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are key for success. Candidates must be able to follow individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment plans, collect and analyze data, and adapt interventions as needed. Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development is required.

Qualifications
  • Persons with a bachelor level degree in psychology, social work, counseling, education, or criminal justice with no previous work experience.
  • Persons with a bachelor level degree in any other field with at least 1 year of full‑time paid work experience involving direct contact with children or adolescents.
  • Persons with an associate level degree or 60 credits toward a bachelor‑level degree with 3 years of full‑time paid work experience involving direct contact with children or adolescents.
  • Licensed practical nurse with at least 3 years of full‑time paid work experience that involved direct contact with children or adolescents.
  • High school diploma or equivalent with completion of a 40‑hour RBT Task‑list training, evidenced by certification signed by a BCBA or BC‑ABA.
  • MUST have a driver’s license.

Staff must have appropriate background checks, transcripts of their degree, and clearances to work in direct contact with children and adolescents (ACT 33, 34 and FBI clearances) and be able to participate in Medicaid and Medicare programs. Must also complete the NSOR (National Sex Offender Registry) Verification, as well as an active Mandated Reporting Certificate (Act 31).
