• Reviews information submitted by producers and brokers.
• Evaluates acceptability of risk.
• Processes cancellations and non-renewals.
• Process policies and determines pricing.
• Assures proper set-up of information for policy issuance.
• Evaluates coverage being provided.
• Reviews descriptions and assures accuracy.
• Determines appropriate pricing.
• Handles in-force policy underwriting.
• Approves endorsement requests from producers.
• Approves policy audits.

• Reviews underwriting information throughout policy year and approves renewals actions.

  Performs other related underwriting duties as required or assigned.

  Travel in territory as needed.

• MS Word, Excel, Power Point
• Insurance forms, contracts knowledge
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Insurance industry courses, INS, CPCU, AU
• 5 years active role in underwriting
