McCarthy Tire Service is seeking a motivated, reliable Car Wash Supervisor. This position will be a working manager position in addition to leading our wash team and ensure a high standard of quality and customer satisfaction. • Act as a working manager — actively participate in day-to-day operations including washing vehicles, drying, vacuuming, and assisting with other on-the-floor duties alongside the team.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the car wash facility: staffing, scheduling, equipment operations, supplies, etc.
• Train, coach, and supervise car wash associate team members; ensure all staff perform their tasks correctly and safely.
• Monitor quality control: inspecting washed vehicles for cleanliness and presentation; correcting issues and ensuring consistency.
• Maintain equipment and vehicle wash systems; schedule routine maintenance; report and escalated equipment problems.
• Enforce safety and environmental standards; ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Manage inventory of wash supplies (soaps, wax, towels, brushes, chemicals, etc.); order as needed while managing costs.
• Handle customer concerns or complaints in a professional, courteous manner; ensure customer satisfaction.
• Keep facility clean, organized, and well‑maintained — both inside and out.
• Report performance metrics (volume, turnaround time, revenue from wash services, etc.) to management; identify areas for improvement.

• Previous experience in car wash operations, automotive detailing, or a related supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to train and mentor staff.
• Good mechanical aptitude; familiarity with car wash equipment and systems is a plus.
• Attention to detail; high standards for quality and presentation.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and possibly holidays.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in wet conditions for extended periods.
