Responsibilities- Supervision of all shift production employees and production equipment in the assigned area.
- Collaborate with other Production Supervisors to ensure effective operations between lines and shifts, coordinating resources with Brew House, Warehouse, QA, and Maintenance staff.
- Be mechanically capable of troubleshooting and fixing a variety of mechanical/process outages.
- Design and implement operating practices for the department.
- Ensure compliance with GMPs and follow the principles of Total Productive Maintenance.
- Strive for achievement of goals, monitor performance through metrics, and report performance through scorecards and reports.
- Manage the daily staffing of the assigned crew.
- Enforce safety regulations, ensuring safety standards are met and required safety training occurs.
- Oversee the training, evaluation, and performance reviews of shift personnel.
- Perform administrative duties as required, including initiating personnel action forms, writing counseling forms, vacation requests, and other reports.
- Help maintain the shift safety program to minimize accidents and injuries and to ensure a safe working environment.
- Continuously follow quality and production standards and make necessary decisions to maintain maximum rates with high quality in an efficient manner.
- Coordinate with Maintenance for scheduled shutdowns and repairs to minimize operational losses.
- Inspect each line and ensure the product is run according to the job specifications.
- Follow corrective action process to resolve problems.
- Close out production work orders and record production on a daily report.
- Forecast equipment usage for future orders.
- Associate’s Degree required.
- Three to five years of relevant work experience.
- Five years of supervisory experience desired.
- Food manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
- Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility, or similar relevant experience (bottling and/or canning experience and mechanical knowledge a plus).
- Detail-oriented.
- Understanding of production processes.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, bend, stand, or walk for long periods in a fast‑paced environment.

5 years of supervisory experience (preferred), food manufacturing experience (preferred but not required).
