Registered Nurse - Acute Care Telemetry Unit

Provides direct patient care and supervision on an assigned unit, ensuring delivery of high-quality, safe, and cost-effective nursing services. Supports unit improvements to enhance patient satisfaction and operational efficiency.

• Supervises nursing staff, participates in orientation, performance appraisals, and addresses performance issues.
• Coordinates staffing, monitors absenteeism, manages supplies, and handles patient and bed triage.
• Communicates patient care updates and operational information to team members, and supports policy development and implementation.
• Fosters a positive work environment aligned with Magnet principles, promotes evidence-based practices, and mentors staff.
• Ensures regulatory compliance, manages resource utilization, and addresses patient and family concerns.
• Participates in incident follow-up, documentation, and unit problem-solving.

• Enrollment in a BSN program and at least 2 years of experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Typically performed in a clinical setting, with hours including overnight shifts. Focuses on patient-centered service, regulatory compliance, and resource management.
