Per Diem Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Provides anesthesia care in the operating room, supporting surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures under supervision. Acts as a patient advocate, ensuring safety and comfort throughout perioperative phases.

• Anesthetizes patients, selects appropriate drugs, and monitors patient responses.
• Induces, maintains, and adjusts anesthesia, treating variants as needed.
• Communicates patient status with surgical team and monitors hemodynamic and equipment data.
• Performs preoperative evaluations, ensuring thorough chart reviews and patient confidence.
• Organizes OR setup, conducts equipment checks, and coordinates with staff for a safe environment.
• Responds to emergencies, maintains airway, and supports airway management.
• Accurately documents care in EMR and safely transports patients, providing comprehensive handovers.
• Serves as a mentor and preceptor for peers, staff, residents, and students.

• Master's Degree in Nursing required.
• Strong knowledge of anesthesia procedures, patient assessment, and equipment management.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Ability to respond effectively to emergencies and maintain patient safety.
