LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - Acute Care Cardiac Telemetry Unit

Role: Inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) responsible for delivering direct patient care, assessing needs, and contributing to care planning within a clinical environment.

• Providing treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies per policies.
• Evaluating the effectiveness of nursing interventions based on patient responses.
• Addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
• Reinforcing patient and family education, discharge planning, and promoting safety.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
• Participating in evidence-based practice decision-making and providing mentorship to new staff and students.
• Contributing data for assessments and supporting adaptive patient/family responses.

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing.
• Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and deliver compassionate care.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and mentorship skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning.

Additional Duties: Engage in unit-based decision-making, support performance evaluations, and adhere to organizational policies. Work hours typically include evening shifts with weekend and holiday requirements.
