Travel Nurse Source is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified NICU RN in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, 18711!
Job TitleRegistered Nurse – NICU

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Three 12-hour shifts per week | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to neonatal patients in an intensive care unit setting
- Monitor and assess the condition of critically ill newborns, initiating appropriate interventions as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and facility standards
- Rotate weekend and holiday coverage on an every-other basis
- Active, valid Registered Nurse (RN) state license
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- S.T.A.B.L.E. certification required
- Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), including every-other weekend and every-other holiday
- 5 or more years of NICU nursing experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in a neonatal intensive care environment
- Experience working with high-acuity neonatal patient populations
- Opportunity to contribute to a specialized neonatal care team in a high-acuity setting
- Consistent night shift schedule with no on-call requirements
