Base pay range: $16.00/hr

The Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non-food demonstrations. They acquire and maintain knowledge of products represented, prepare, serve, and break down product, equipment, and supplies. They intercept consumers and demonstrate products in a professional manner while maintaining a professional appearance.

• Possess aptitude to gain knowledge of the products represented.
• Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers positively.
• Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
• Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
• Properly set up and prepare the event table for execution.
• Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
• Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
• Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
• Complete expense reports as per company policy.
• Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
• Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents (Microsoft Word & Adobe PDF).

Education/

Experience:

High school diploma, GED, or one to three months of related experience preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience also acceptable.

Computer

Skills:

Proficient in using personal computers or mobile devices, navigating applications and internal systems.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local food‑handlers permit may be required.

Physical Demands: The associate will stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach overhead up to 65 inches, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart, prepare food and beverages using required appliances, and be in contact with cleaning supplies.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Work Environment: Retail store environment with limited travel.

Physical Appearance: Professional appearance and proper grooming; follow retailer dress code.

Language

Skills:

English (primary); bilingual skills may be required.

Product Demonstrator Part Time role may not exceed 25 hours per week, but company reserves discretion to change based on business/client needs.
