General Laborer

The General Laborer is responsible for supporting operations and performing a wide variety of manual tasks that require stamina and an eagerness to learn on the job. The position is entry‑level with room for growth and development, and the worker must understand instructions and carry them out efficiently within the given deadline. Responsibilities include handling power tools and equipment. Candidates must have at least one year of forklift operating experience, be mechanically inclined, and be able to read a measuring tape.

• Operate and maintain forklift equipment effectively
• Clean up worksites from hazardous or obsolete material
• Handle and transport materials and equipment – bundling
• Operate power tools and machinery (e.g., forklifts) when needed
• Follow instructions to perform manual labor tasks
• Assist with setting up and transferring temporary structures
• Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Adhere to safety standards and regulations
• Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others
• Perform all other duties as required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
• Good hand‑eye coordination
• Familiarity with power tools and machinery
• Communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safety rules
• Stamina and strength to perform manual labor
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to comprehend direction in both written and verbal form
• 1 year forklift experience

• Power tools: 1 year (Required)
• Forklift: 2 years (Required)

• Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing
• Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations
• Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching
• Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, up to 75 pounds
• Requires exposure to moving machinery, temperature and humidity changes, and dust, fumes and gases
• Commensurate with experience

• Range from $17-20/hour
• All rates are based on experience
