In this role, you will work directly out of your home, traveling to pre-scheduled jobs in your own truck or van. Whether you are an experienced carpenter looking for steady, year-round work, an independent contractor wanting to reduce your administrative burden, or a skilled trade professional seeking a more flexible schedule, we provide a supportive environment where your craftsmanship is respected and rewarded.

Hourly Pay: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, based on carpentry and trade experience.

On a day-to-day basis: You will review your scheduled jobs, travel to residential or light commercial locations, and complete various medium-to-small home repairs and improvements. You will discuss the scope of work with the customer, perform the repairs safely and efficiently, document the completed work, and collect payment via our straightforward system. Typical projects include light carpentry, drywall repairs, tiling, minor plumbing (like replacing a faucet), and light electrical work (like installing a ceiling fan).

A proven professional track record in carpentry and general home repairs.

The ability to perform basic plumbing and electrical tasks.

Your own standard set of hand and power tools to perform common home maintenance tasks.

Your own reliable truck or van suitable for transporting tools and materials to job sites.

A valid driver's license.

Residency within 15 miles of Wyoming, PA.

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain repair needs clearly and friendly to customers.

A professional appearance and demeanor.

Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screen.

Prior experience estimating project costs and timelines.

Experience in home inspection or building inspection.
